A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Rossak Brotherhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using the voice is from an incident called “Mentats of Dune.” The three books intertwine the development of the Brotherhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors. It’s pretty stupid to me how many people complain about this series after a decent pilot.
The quality was good
I would give the first episode a 7.6. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it certainly wasn’t crap like so many of these stupid critics do. NO, it’s not like Sex in the City.
Let a few more episodes come out first, dammit!
And YES, Benne Ghesserit’s entire mission is to manipulate bloodlines within politics. It’s stated in the movies as well as the books, so what are you guys talking about, giving it 1-5 stars?! Stop rating the show so extremely after just one episode.
