Scenario
Charles, a pensioner, gets a new lease of life when he answers an ad for a private detective and becomes a mole in a secret investigation at a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary El Agente Topo.
These actors only get better with age and are perfect for this cute comedy series!
I am 67 years old and it was so great to see so many actors of our generation and their great comedic styles. The script gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and gets deeper with the character storylines.
Actually, it’s not a secret
That’s okay because you have a pretty good idea of who the culprit is about halfway through. You don’t care that it’s not really a secret, because you’re just having fun watching these golden oldies work and show off their skills.
Thank you for giving me a wonderful Saturday to drink while watching this series!
Just pay attention to how brave it is to be a senior citizen and at the same time stay active and feel noticed in our youth-oriented society. What a sweet tribute to those who support and help us navigate the minefields of aging, this series was.
