References Roots (1977). Instead of your typical bank or casino heist, this film turns the world of academics into a high-stakes game, and the results are nothing short of brilliant.
I always like comparing how the same story is told differently from different filmmakers’ perspectives
The tension is palpable from start to finish, and every scene feels meticulously crafted to keep you on the edge of your seat. I haven’t seen the Thai film that was apparently adapted, but I really enjoyed this one, and I think I might try to find it and give it a good watch.
