James Gunn had proposed CREATURE COMMANDOS before taking over DC
Follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios. Series writer and creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits with a laptop on which he types a script.

With an unknown team full of misfits, there’s no doubt this was going to be bad. James Gunn has clearly proclaimed himself the king of comic book adaptations, even for a team-up that was originally meant for WWII, but this time I’m standing right there in his debt for another of his amazing creations and mind. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us and how he does us DC justice.
