The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia. The site, known as the Beaver Bank Villa has a long history, and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of a nearby military radar base which operated in the 1950's and 1960's. The paved streets and driveways were all that remained, and the fake town was built on them..

You're heading straight for the same trap
I'm writing this for the writers and producers of the show:Please don't turn this into another "Lost"-another disappointment. None of the characters communicate with each other or share what's happening in town. It's as if they've suddenly become clueless, deliberately withholding important information that could help them understand what's going on.
And this is so annoyingAlso, in every single episode, something new happens, but it's never explained
I've watched 14 episodes so far, and nothing has been clarified-just like "Lost."So please, writers and producers, don't ruin this one too.
